Strawberry Jam Ingredients
- 1kg of strawberries (fresh or frozen)
- 1kg of sugar

Instructions
- Prepare the Strawberries
Wash them, remove the stems, and chop them (skip this step if using frozen strawberries). - Cooking
Place the strawberries and sugar in a saucepan and cook until the sugar dissolves and the strawberries release their juices. - Mash and Simmer
Stir and mash the strawberries until smooth. Simmer over low heat for 15-20 minutes, or until the jam thickens. - Cooling
Remove the saucepan from the heat and let it cool โ it will thicken further as it cools. - Storage
Transfer the jam to a jar and store it in the refrigerator, at room temperature, or ideally in the freezer (it will keep for up to a year).
Tip: If you want less sweetness, simply reduce the amount of sugar. To keep it fresh longer, store it in the freezer and take out only the amount you want to eat. ๐
